***4/14/08 AQ Interisland flights--Rebooked on different airline -- We are rebooking your passengers on inter-island flights to replace flights previously booked on AQ. We need your assistance in handling these rebooked records to avoid more financial losses and inconvenience.

TICKETED AQ RECORDS:
We are sending new invoices/itineraries with replacement flights and any additional cost shown. Please review these and let us know if the replacement flights are NOT acceptable. We need to know immediately as we need to ticket the new inter-island flights TODAY.

NOT TICKETED AQ RECORDS:
We are sending new invoices/itineraries with replacement flights and any additional cost shown. Please review these when you have a chance. If you want us to change these flights, please email rebook@blueskytours.com .We must receive your reply to rebook the flights. Please include the Record locator and note any special requirements.

We ask your patience and understanding as we continue to work through this problem.


Blue Sky Tours would like to thank the travel agent community for all of the suggestions and comments on helping our clients with the Aloha Airlines reaccommodations. Because of your comments, we are changing our policy.

  • We will apply the full cost of the Aloha ticket to the cost of a ticket on another airline.
  • No penalties nor the use of the waiver will be charged for the change to another airline. 
  • We will charge for any increase in cost for ticketing on another airline.    

    We understand the stress this has put everyone under, and Blue Sky Tours will work with you to protect your client's vacation in the easiest and fastest possible way.

    Because we only sell through travel agencies, it is our intention to do all we can to provide the best service in all situations. Our policies are largely dependent on what you tell us, for Blue Sky Tours to be successful.

    Please know that Blue Sky Tours has paid Aloha for the tickets and has no hope of recovering the money paid for the Aloha tickets. All Aloha tickets were paid for in cash. This money is lost. This loss is large.  

    Blue Sky Tours procedure gives the customer the full value of the Aloha ticket without the hassle, delay, and uncertain outcome of requiring the customer to do a credit card chargeback to attempt to get their money back. A significant amount of information and effort is required to effect a chargeback. Our policy eliminates the need for the passenger to do any work to recover the value of their ticket.

    We have set aside team members to handle re accommodations.  'The Aloha Team' will be working on bookings in order of departure date, and will contact you as soon as your clients' reaccommodations have been made.
